- How would/ should Gingrich respond to this cartoon, with denying that he is being called a democrat or should he create stricter policies to be closer to the Republican party?
This was really funny because the way i see it, Newt Gingrich is very, very far from being a democrat or liberal. A quote to prove my point, "I have two grandchildren... I am convinced that if we do not deceivingly win the struggle over the nature of America, by the time they're my age they will be in a secularist atheist country, potentially one dominated by Radical Islamist and with no understanding of what it once meant to be an American."
Mike this is actually a pretty clever cartoon. It illustrates the idea of Ginrich being an 'inconsistent' candidate; he switches from one side to another. But does this cartoon also illustrates the idea that Ginrich is a really a democrat instead of a republican? It shows the entire donkey with an elephant mask, which I think shows Ginrich is more of a democrat than a republican.
